ShortcutMe only listens to the multiple convenience key clicks if the convenience key is assigned to ShortcutMe. The convenience key can be assigned in Options->Screen/Keyboard page of BlackBerry.
For multiple click apps, just click the convenience key multiple times. If you wait more than 1 second after the first click and 600ms after the other clicks, ShortcutMe does not read further clicks.
Click Space key multiple times from the BlackBerry Home Screen (Assuming "Dial From Home Screen" is turned OFF in BB>Options>"Phone Options">"general Options"). You can replace the first Space click with anything that launches ShortcutMe (i.e. Conv key, or clicking the ShortcutMe Icon, etc)
ShortcutMe uses an standard RIM's API to launch RIM's and 3rd party's apps. Unfortunately, that API does not launch all applications (including even some of RIMs' own application, and some 3rd party apps). Therefore, adding an app name to the Extra AppName does not necessarily mean that it can be launched by ShortcutMe.
We are, however, registering requests from customers to launch various apps so that we can add launching supports for them in future releases of ShortcutMe. Please send us (support at shortcutme dot com) the name of the application that can't be launched by ShortcutMe.
